Title: A Nonverbal Spell
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 20,089
Warnings: RPF, blink-and-you-miss-it mention of underage drinking, homophobia, internalized homophobia, underage sex
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. All events in this have been completely made up and do not represent a truthful depiction of these people or their lives. I ask that you please do not share this with any of the people involved.
Summary: A drunken party game reminds Darren of a secret from his past and he doesn’t react well. Chris is determined to figure out what’s wrong and what he can do to fix it.
Author's Notes: So here it is! This is by far the longest anything I've written, and I'm honestly a bit surprised I made it this far. I thought I was crazy when I signed up for the big bang back in October, and at this point, I know I was crazy. My unending gratitude goes out to my beta, anodrethlluvine, who has also listened to me rant and rave and let me go generally nuts on him over this.

Title:  The Things That Cost You Too Much [RPF]
Rating:  NC-17
Word Count:  22,600
Warnings:  Angst.  Lots and lots of angst.
Summary: They say you never forget your first love, and this is true.  They also say you never get a second chance, and this is slightly less true.
Notes: Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it took one to help me bring this to life.  Thank you to Birdie, Ashley, Fabrisse, Tara, Christine, and Lucie, for various levels of feedback and reassurance.  Thank you to Cass for being my partner in frustration and the most valuable sounding board ever.  Thank you to Pushplaytobegin for pointing out where I went wrong and the ways she thought I went right, and (as always), Laura for making it appear I have a basic grasp on the mechanics of the English language.  Title comes from the song 'True Faith,' by New Order. The entire thing is pretty much one New Order song after another (or at least, that's what made me write it), and you can hear all of them here.*

(Art by the lovely missduckiedear, who deserves a medal not just for this beautiful picture,
but for putting up with my scatterbrained self.)

PROLOGUE:

Once upon a time, there were two very special boys. One grew up in a small house in a small town, with two loving parents and a younger sister he loved more than life itself. The other in a bigger house in a small city that had a big reputation, with two loving parents and the best big brother a guy could ever have. Both spent hours making up stories and playing pretend, dreaming of the day when someone would pay them to make those dreams feel real for other people.

One was willing to compromise.

The other one was not.

Dancing Under The Spotlight
by PureKlaination

Summary: When Chris lands the lead role in a local theatre company’s performance of Dirty Dancing he doesn’t anticipate the drama that goes along with it. The female lead who gets on everyone’s nerves , the past which comes back to haunt him and an eventful trip intgo the closet with the director. Shame Chris’s girlfriend doesn’t approve.
Rating: NC17
Warnings: Vague talk of OC character death, m/m sex, RPF.
Disclaimer: I do not own Darren Criss or Chris Colfer or anything affiliated with them. I ask that this not be forwarded in any way, shape or form to the people in question.
Authors notes:
There were a lot of people to support me during the writing process for this story, starting with Kami, who beta’d with the fist of god and to whom I owe at the very least, my right leg. (I offered her my first born but she didn’t want him, and I’m kind of attached to him.)
Nic, for the beautiful artwork, which she worked so hard on and it’s absolutely perfect.
Ara who planted the initial seeds of plot and sat with me in spirit while I wrote the first 15,000 words.
Odd, someone who became my friend through this process alone, for taking the time talking and plotting things out and getting rid of the worst of my Australian slang.
Gabby for being my constant, wonderful cheerleader and convincing me that it was going to be good because I wanted it to be.
Without these people, and a lot of others along the way this fic would not exist - thank you all so, so much.

They didn’t know each other from a bar of soap at the beginning.

Again - all authors must check in here. If you're having doubts or thinking about dropping out, please check in anyways and let us know if you change your mind afterwards.

A few authors did not submit their summaries for artist claims. I added them in anyways, using information from the check in post. If you want to change or omit your summary or story information, please email or PM us before claims open tomorrow afternoon.

Welcome to artist claims!

Underneath the cut is the list of summaries for the artist to choose from. After you've made your top two choices, please comment in this post with the information below. When making choices, please put the number of the summary in question and not the title of the story. Claims will be open until every story is claimed - authors are allowed to claim another story after all authors have claimed at least one story. Comments are disabled until 5:10 pm CT, which you can check against your own timezone
here.
