Check-in #1
  Hello all!  Welcome to your first check in!

Once again, this is not required. Don't feel bad if you haven't managed to finish much, or if you haven't even started! After all, rough drafts aren't due for a while still. The main reason we're doing this check in is to see how on schedule we are and to remind you all that you're participating! :)

Anyways! To check in, fill out the form below and leave it in this thread as a comment.

roughly 4,200 which includes plot notes to myself
Genre:
AU romance with some other stuff on the side
Rough Summary:
Blaine doesn't exist until the fourth season of Glee, when Chris is doing a spin off. Thing is, Chris' manager decides he needs a boyfriend, at least for the cameras. And Darren agrees with some ulterior motives, but Chris wants to keep it strictly business.
What's Going Well So Far:
I actually know where the plot is going.
What's Not Going So Well:
keeping it from being a total romcom cliche with some added predictable sauce, making it AU enough, a few of the smaller details
Favorite Line(s):

and

Because he was falling, hard and fast. Tumbling through the air, twisting and turning and falling. The ground rushed ever closer; reality rushed ever closer. Touching the earth would have his heart splattered and splayed across concrete, utterly broken, utterly destroyed.

And Darren wasn’t going to be there to catch him.

so have something a little funny, and something a little serious
